Stability Of Alkyl Glucoside

Hugo New Materials (Wuxi) Co.,Ltd | Updated: Sep 11, 2017

Alkyl glucoside is a new type of nonionic surfactant, which has the properties of ordinary non-ionic and anionic surfactants, and usually manufactures more than 50% and 70% of aqueous solutions, usually in colorless to yellowish viscous liquid or creamy cream (winter). Pure alkyl glucoside is brown or amber flake solid, easy to absorb moisture. Alkyl glucoside is soluble in water and soluble in common organic solvents, Alkyl Polyglucoside which exhibits excellent compatibility, stability and surface activity in acid and alkaline solution, especially in active solvents with higher inorganic composition. The alkyl glucoside can be completely biodegradable in nature and will not form a biodegradable metabolite, thus avoiding new pollution to the environment.

Using alkyl dextran (alkyl glucoside or cigi) as surfactant, C4~C6-N-octanol is used as the surfactant, and the micro-emulsion system is obtained by using the nutmeg acid isopropyl ester as the oil phase. The microemulsion of alkyl glucoside with different alkyl chains length was studied under the action of different alkyl chain alcohols. Alkyl Polyglucoside The proposed ternary phase diagram and δ-γ phase diagram of the system are used to calculate some important parameters of the micro-emulsion interface with HLB equation. It was found that the use of alcohols with longer carbon chains and alkyl glucoside with longer carbon chains were beneficial to the formation of single-phase and medium phase microemulsion, which was explained, and the system with the highest efficiency of single-phase microemulsion was determined.

The main constituents of the keratin--more specifically the human hair or the skin--the conditioning compositions of the alkyl glucoside and the Amphoteric polymers selected from the two allyl ammonium disulfide and the acidic single system of acrylic or methacrylic acid. Alkyl Polyglucoside It also relates to the conditioning method of the diagonal substance of this composition.

The invention relates more specifically to a washing or shampoo composition, and a hair care composition generally used after rinsing.

Shampoo compositions are generally made from anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, Alkyl Polyglucoside or mixtures of their compounds, where necessary, amphoteric surfactants exist.

When used alone, these anionic surfactants or nonionic surfactants do not have good cosmetic properties, Alkyl Polyglucoside especially wet hair is difficult to comb, and the hair is not smooth.

It has been suggested that cationic polymers and/or polysiloxane be added to these washing compositions to improve their cosmetic properties.

However, it has been proved that the cationic polymers do not play their best role in anionic media because of the ionic interaction between cationic polymers and anionic surfactants, Alkyl Polyglucoside and there is sometimes a sense of combinatorial stability.

The inclusion of polysiloxane in such solutions with anionic surfactants or nonionic surfactants also poses problems, especially at the level of the formula, which can cause problems such as the stability of the composition.

It was also suggested that cationic polymers were added to the detergent compositions containing alkyl glucoside. But this type of composition detergent has a problem that is removed during rinsing, Alkyl Polyglucoside which causes dry hair not to be supple and wet hair to comb.

In the past, it has been suggested that the use of cationic surfactants and/or cationic polymers in the hair care compositions, but in the process of continuous use, has the disadvantage of accumulating on the hairs, thus making the hair heavy and irritating.

The applicant found that, as the purpose of the present invention, a combination of conditioner hair, which can be used for shampoo or hair care, contains a alkyl glucoside and a amphoteric polymer of acid mono-system, prepared from two allyl ammonium disulfide and one from acrylic or methacrylic acid. Alkyl Polyglucoside This composition does not contain polysiloxane as a conditioner, nor does it contain soap as a detergent.
